Removed and replaced pressure treated pine decking, posts and railings with Ipe hardwood decking and cedar rails and posts. Existing substructure was left in place and reused and repaired as necessary. |

Built a new deck, approximately 30’ x 20’, attached to the south side of a new home. Substructure is pressure treated pine. Decking is 1” x 6” Ipe hardwood. Posts, balusters and rails are red cedar. |

Removed and replaced approximately 700 square feet of pressure treated pine deck boards that had warped, cracked, or rotted. Replaced pedestrian entry door to garage and repaired back door to house, both of which opened onto the deck. Re-trimmed both doors with flat casing to match other door and window casing nearby. Fabricated and installed custom wood blocks to support deck lighting. Replaced 15 sections of defective cedar clapboard siding adjacent to the deck. |

Added to the front entry of a colonial style home. The structure features two fiberglass Doric columns with Tuscan caps and bases supporting a triangular 7 pitch roof bonnet and accented by architectural style shingles. Other features include a Nantucket style bead board ceiling, one level of crown molding accenting the bead board and three levels of crown molding cascading around the exterior of the portico. |

Exterior Door. Installed third entry through south wall of laundry room in a 100 year old colonial. Removed an existing window and framed in its place an enlarged opening for new door. Installed new interior and exterior trim. Created a new stairway with cedar railing and concrete / natural stone landing for attractive, durable access. |

Custom Entry Door. Replaced steel front entry door with a solid core douglas fir 6 panel door fitted to an existing jamb. Re-trimmed all casing, installed adjustable threshold, premium weather stripping and new hardware. |

Window Modification. Replaced rotten exterior casing and stool on a first floor window in a downtown office building. Reassembled / re-flashed all underlying drainage planes. |

Custom Entry Door. Adjusted a 42” wide custom wood front door, which had warped, so it could close. Installed premium weather - stripping to ensure proper air sealing. Saved client the expenditure (recommended by others) of thousands of dollars by avoiding complete reframing of the rough opening and door replacement. |
